These E-Bodies where ment to be driven! I've got 250,000 miles on my Challenger and one of my best adventures was driving to the gas station with my son in his 2015 Challenger Scat Pack! So some poor soul in a black cracker box got a wake up call when he (she?) had the misfortune of being in the...
Zooming in on the fender tag in the original post, the tag is not original. There's something missing from it that is present on all original fender tags I've seen. And no, I'm not going to say what it is, but if you have a original fender tag, you should be able to figure it out on your own...
I just saw an inexpensive unit that popped up when I searched eBay for "70 Chrysler Cruise Control Module and got excited! It's getting harder and harder to use cruise control these days, even here in southern Arizona. So much freaking traffic!
I know they're not stamped with the factory numbers, but 440 Sources 6 quart pans and pickups are so inexpensive, why bother with anything else unless it's all numbers matching show car?

Yes, it's used for the timing cover seal. Sometimes the crankshaft nose seal area gets worn and the sleeve can be installed to prevent leaks. This is a more common problem with cast iron crankshafts like the 318 and 360 then forged crankshafts. Even so, it's pretty rare on Mopars. I ground...
You realize it probably left the factory with a similar gap. Quality control back in the late 60sand early 70s wasn't the greatest.
Not the greatest solution, but the only thing I can think of with out taking anything apart is to get a syringe with a big needle (think the one the doctor pokes...
From Jeg's:
Hooker Headers 5115: Super Comp Headers Small Block Mopar 318-360 - JEGS
Looks like they fit small blocks in B and E bodies and certain C bodies.
If you have disc brakes on the front with really good pads (something that generates a lot of dust), I doubt you'd notice much of a difference between 10" or 11" drums on the rear. 65-70% of braking is done by disc brakes in front. If you got drums in front (why???) then the 11" rears might show...
My opinion is any documentation (books, shop manuals, owner's manual, decoder books, MCC books, etc.) is great to have for these cars! Plus all the things that get posted in this forum. Never have too many resources materials!
On the six pack, all the idle is done on the center carb. The outboard carbs are your secondaries and shouldn't be doing anything at idle unless one of them is dripping gasoline into the intake. There are much better six pack guys than me that will chime in.
Where did you get your standard...
The A66 Challengers are rather unique in they where not R/Ts being JH cars, but had most of the R/T upgrades! 340Challconvert is the resident expert on A66 cars! Odds of a 318 car getting all the goodies listed on the fender tag are pretty dang slim even if they were available at the earlier date.
