It looks a little different now. I'll try to find some more recent picture's of it. my dad detuned it and put it back on the street in 2003 or so I think. A guy in texas owns it now.

It was an R/T v code car, but he had a T/A fiberglass hood and rear spoiler on it. 440 sixpack 727, Dana rearend, mini spool, it was cool! i drove it a couple of times and it was kick ass!

and some pictures of when he put it on the street. a little bit earlier then i thought 2001 or so. he thought it would probably still do a 10 in the 1/4. and then eventually he took off the race lettering. I will try to find some photo's of that.

I love Super Stock. There were some crazy fast cars. Still are I guess, I have a friend who races in a Super Stock class at No Problems Raceway that is very much like the rules of the old days except for safety upgrades.

Thanks all you guys for the great compliments. My dad passed away in 2006 from pancreatic cancer. It was a rough year. I would like to paint my Duster with the same paint job as his Challenger some day as a tribute to him, but you know how it goes, the body/paint guy never can get around to painting his own car. Maybe some day.

Awesome car. Sorry about your dad. I lost mine in 2006 to cancer as well. If you haven't lost a parent, it is difficult to understand dealing with it.

I remember seeing your Dad race that car at the Northstar Nationals in Brainerd. I then again saw it in street trim, probably at the Car Craft Nats in Minneapolis. Nice car.

Yeah he put it back on the street. He let me drive it a few times to some car show's. It was awesome! Still a fast 10 second street car.
