I know we all have other hobbies besides Mopars. How about sharing some pics of them. I have been building models since I was a kid and for the last few years I have been build junkyard models. Most of my collection are mopars (crossover hobbies I guess), but I build other brands as well. Here are some of my E bodies. I have sold a few on Ebay and I have also built a bunch to order. I wish my camara was able to get better shots so you could see the torn upholstery and the engine detail.

WOW, Nice models! It took me a second to see that they were models and not real cars. You do nice work.
I go out to glamis!

I race hydroplanes when I can afford to. D stock and D mod. (80 m/h in a wooden wing flying 3in above the water 110r) I also use to fly R/C airplanes but time isn't as available as it use to be. I hope to start again. I also build R/C airboats.

As far as hobbies go, originally being from Hawaii, I play in a couple of Hawaiian bands here in the SF Bay Area and wish I had more time to play all the gigs but I am limited. So, I guess my other main hobby (besides the cars) is traditional Hawaiian music. No one ever expects to hear that. ;)

The C-body cite a belong too don't agree LOL They seem to thing Every car is restoreable and deserves to be put back on the road. That Newport sat in the weeds for about 12 years, and had a bad rod bearing in it. I pulled that motor out and sold the block (360) and put the motor from the Gran Fury in it (also a 360) I then sold any useable parts off the Newport and Gran Fury to people looking for parts.

I wont be running at all in 2009 cause of some much needed surgeries that wil lput me out of work for 2 to 3 months. I am all out of cars as well, but I do know where there is a 67 Fury III, a 76 Cordoba, and a 73 Chrysler Town and Country sitting, but just don't have the funds for any of them. But I'll keep everyone posted.

Believe me I love my '68 Newport 2dr. any later then '68-'69 I think they just kinda get ugly, it's your money if you want to wreck the car that just means mine got a little rarer!

I know a guy that has a 68 Newport 2-door sitting. If its a 2 door, I wouldn't destroy it unless it was like a 74-78, depending on the condition, I wouldn't even destroy a 4 door. Here is a car I wish I had back. I would have made it a sleeper!!! but I sold it for a parts car. I traded a rusted out 71 Dart swinger for it
71 Gran Fury with Wipers on the Headlights!!

Got to love them big old tanks they made back then. Them headlight wipers are a cool option. That car would be nice with a 440 in it.

Those headlight wipers were a rare option!! The car was originally a 360 car, but my body took the motor/tranny for his drag car. Then it had sat for about 5 years before i got it, then I sold it to a guy in Newyork.
