I'm from Rochester, NY (not far from Buffalo, Niagara falls...), but now live in central NC, south of Greensboro, near Asheboro and Siler City (final resting place of Aunt Bea). It's a booming metropilis of several hundred here in Ramseur.

Sheridan, Oregon (Orygun). Pop. 4,500. About 50 miles from Russ. Just far enough from the big city. But not too far to go get parts. Deer and elk in the hills nearby. Steelhead in the river that runs through town. Not far from the coast; fish, crab, clams. Not far from snow skiing on the mtns. I like it.

Raised outside of Watkins Glen, NY, now residing in Elmira, about 25 miles south. We're semi-famous: Corning is to the west of us, where some of you might have gotten your dishes. Elmira was the biggest internment camp for the North during the Civil War, also the town Mark Twain called home for several years and the birthplace for Hal Roach. And if you're a NASCAR or Gran Prix fan you should know about Watkins Glen.
