I recently purchased a 71 Cuda 340 4spd and I'm having an issue with the engine torqueing the front end. When I gun the motor (at any speed) the front end torques quite a bit. It make steering a little scary when I gun the motor. It seems the front end is torqueing instead of transferring the torque to the rear end. I'm not sure if i have bad motor mounts or some other problems. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Tim

I think I like your butterscotch cuda, other then that, I would start with motor mounts, which should be easy with a shaker hood.

Welcome to the site. It does sound like a bad motor mount.
