I just replaced the ratio on the diff, so I guess I need to switch speedo gears.
Do you guys know what number of teeth I need on the gear with this setup:
Dana 60, 3.54:1 ratio, 4 speed manual, 275/60/15 tire.

So your tire spec's out at 28" tall, so you will need a 33 tooth gear.

Hmmm. Seems like I need some help with installing it. (My knowledge about transmissions is limited to Muncie)

I attached the gear and housing and I notice the housing is off center. I guess this is for the varying sizes of the gears, so I rotate it until it connects with the drive in the transmission (I guess), but when I attach the lock clamp/fork it doesn't match with the four grooves in the housing. It seems to seal up nicely though.
When I fasten the screw for the speedometer wire and apply a little force, the housing slides over until it gets locked in the grooves. Am I doing something wrong here.

I know this is probably a dumb question (I just don't want the gear drive to get chewed to bits after taking it for a drive)

Never mind. Understood the numbers on the housing and how to read the pointers
