    Thorkild, welcome from Germany. I don't know about your car's history, but I spy a fender tag (aka data plate) on the inner fender. It would tell you how your car looked like originally.

    A friend of mine has an original Carter AVS carb for a 340 automatic A/C for sale. Number is 4935S. The carb came off his ex JH23H0 A66 Challenger, scheduled production date B18 (Nov. 18th 1969).     I own a 70 Challenger R/T 440 with ECS aka California emissions. It got its fuel tank replaced some 35 years ago with a 49 State item, the venting was accomplished by drilling a small hole into the ECS gas cap. The 4 fuel tank vents were disconnected as the tank didn't have the four vent nipples...
