    74 challenger upgrade to 10.87 0r 10.95 rotors

Thanks for your reply but as I stated, is going from the stock 10" braking system to the 10.87" or 10.97" rotor worth the effort? I checked out the motor trend info site and it was not helpful. I need to know what OEM parts I'm gonna need to make this upgrade and as I stated before, keep my 14"...

    74 challenger upgrade to 10.87 0r 10.95 rotors

Hello; I have a 1974 challenger with factory power 10" front rotors with slider style calipers. I want to keep using my 14" road wheels. Is an upgrade to 10.87" or 10.97" front rotors worth it and if so what will I need to make this possible? I would like to to use OEM parts. Thanks for any advice.

Rallye hood shakes at speeds over 60 mph

Hi everyone; problem solved. I shimmed up the rear spring loaded bumpers until they contacted the hood by about 3/16". The hood is fairly stable now at 60mph, I can even remove the block off plates in the scoops now. Thank-you everyone for your help. Shebacat.

Rallye hood shakes at speeds over 60 mph

Hi Terry; how about rolling two 1/4" balls of putty and place them on the wedge then close the hood to check how much the hood contacts the wedge.Question is, how much contact should there be? Completely compressed or partially ? Thanks again. Shebacat

Rallye hood shakes at speeds over 60 mph

Yes, they are there and the wedges are spring loaded. I also looked at the hood where it should contact the wedges and the paint is undisturbed, like it's not even touching the wedge. Maybe I'll shim the wedge closer to the hood.

Rallye hood shakes at speeds over 60 mph

Hello again; I have a 1974 Challenger with the rallye hood. Problem is, it starts to shake at the cowl end when I go over 60 mph to the point I'm worried it's gonna chip the paint. The scoops have the factory block off plates installed. What I have done so far is, replaced the hinges and cranked...

    Routing new EFI lines ideas

Hi there; I have a 1974 Challenger and I'm putting in a sniper efi tank. I want to run two 3/8" and one 1/4" steel lines. I'm looking at where the lines snake around the front leaf spring hanger. Question, is there another way to get around this without all those tight 90 degree bends and will...
