Has anyone found something to remove under coating from the painted surface? I am trying to remove it from the engine compartment
under the hood and the only thing that seem to work best is WD-40. I know carb cleaner does but removes the paint also. If anyone knows
of a product please let me know thanks. I have a lot more o remove.

Oven cleaner is very strong, might remove the paint also.

I have used gasoline and it left the paint alone.

Just use the WD, it's not good for anything else anyway.
