Would anybody have some pictures of mini tubs you put in your car? I am about to start my tubs and just wanted to see how a challenger looks when thet are done. Also did you notch the frame rails or move them over to get more room. I measured and it looks like you can only get a max of 1.5" unless you do something with the frame. Is this correct? if not maybe you can share your thoughts, ideas, experiences.

I used to build race cars so we did mini tubs just moving the tub to the frame rail & stitching in a 2-3" patch in the center of the tub all the way to removing all the floor & frame to right under the rear seat & doing a complete back 1/2 half build .
The mini tub & relocate the spring 1" inside is a easy mod & can virtually be hidden , the back 1/2 not os much LOL

Like mentioned we did mini tubs just moving the tub to the frame rail & welding in a 3" patch in the center of the tub all the way from the floor & frame to right under the rear seat. This allows a 12 in wide tire without rubbing.

My 70' was already moved into the frame rail when I bought it. I would have done it like Chryco described but i haven't worried about changing it.

Once mini tubes are done. I was able to fit a 315/60/15 Drag Radial (30"X13.5") or a 29.5x10.5W (29.6"x13.6") in there with plenty of room to spare all around.

Yes, it is B5 blue. Foctory 1970 color. Still have the label off of the paint can. That is how I matched my cage paint to the body paint.

Here are a few more I have of my Challenger. It is a 25.5 (7:50) cert chromoly cage, mini tubbed, still on leaf springs, cal-tracs with split mono leaf's, moved in board with a anti roll bar. Challenger Progress 018 [640x480].jpg
