dash reverse light

When I step on my brake pedal the reverse light goes on... Any help out there?

Can you have someone step on the brakes and see if your reverse lights come on faintly with the brake lights? Or pull the backup light plug socket from the taillight and see if the reverse light goes out, could be a poor ground in the tail lights feeding back through your dash reverse light.
