    Rear diff compatibility

Thanks! I've been in contact with Transaxle in Hackensack and they put me in touch with Drivetrain Inc. The guy who is going to install it is very familiar with these swaps. (Harry Owen of Harrys Rods)

    Rear diff compatibility

Thanks to all who helped. I bought the diff, and the price was right as it was completely rebuilt by a rear end shop in Hackensack. It is out of a "B" body but I don't see any issues except possibly needing the yoke adapter.

    Rear diff compatibility

@MoparCarGuy So, just to be clear, an 8.75 rear diff, regardless of year and application, will fit my '73 Cuda. The only issue will be the driveshaft length and yoke spline count, correct? If it doesn't match my driveshaft/yoke, I'll need to get an adapter, but then it should be all good? TIA

    Rear diff compatibility

@Ricks426 the guy selling the 489 diff said that there is a possibility that the spline count on my '73's axles might not match up on the spline count on his 489 diff. True? I just assumed that all 8.75 diffs had the same spline count axles going into them all. Is the guy wrong?

    Rear diff compatibility

I have a 1973 Barracuda with a 727, currently a 741 case rear diff. I've located a rebuilt 489 case rear diff with 3.55 gears and sure grip. Owner says it was out of a 1970 Charger. My question is will my axles fit without issue, and what will I need to change on my yoke. TIA

I have actually located a complete shifter unit locally. The guy is asking $200 which I guess is a good price for all the needed pieces. Thank you though!

WTB 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe Rocker Molding clips

@70 4715 at this point I will take anything I can get. The guy on Ebay has them measured at 2.8550 top to bottom and .2925 at the clip. They are an olive green in color. This isn't a show car so I'm just wanting anything I can mount them with; not picky. Thanks!

WTB 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe Rocker Molding clips

I need 10, but I'll settle for anything. Specific to the '70 Gran Coupe. Clips are approximately 2.85" top to bottom, so a big clip. The one guy who has these on Ebay is out until the end of August. TIA, Matt in NJ

    Gran Coupe Rocker Moldings

So there's a guy on Ebay who has them, but his profile and account are in "Vacation" mode.

    Gran Coupe Rocker Moldings

So these are correct then? Do I need 8 or 10? Also, any idea how large a hole I have to make in the rockers to accommodate these? Thanks!
  13. Matt68

    Gran Coupe Rocker Moldings

These moldings are heavy; I don't see the two screw holes on either end holding this entire piece on. Also, there are channels in the back to slide the molding onto some sort of clips.

    Gran Coupe Rocker Moldings

Question for those in the know; should Gran Coupe Rocker moldings be chrome? Also, is there special molding clips specific to the Gran coupe? TIA

So, quick question. How difficult is it to put a 1971 Grille on a different year Barracuda? What modifications are necessary? TIA

SOLD Maxx Performance Blue 8.5mm Wires

Used these on my rebuilt 360 for a few fire ups. Went with a black set as my engine is all black. Paid $48.00 for these. They are the thicker 8.5mm Ferrite Spiral Core with 500 Ohms. Basically new. Would match a Chrysler Blue block nicely. $20 plus ship. I'm in North NJ.
