I didn't find a really good video for putting quarter glass in but here's how I did it. I first bolted the regulator in and inserted the arm into the body slide while I put the regulator in. I then put the track in after I'd already greased it and only secured the bottom bolt loosely and set it...
I decided not to use the Magnum 500 rims as I have on the 73 cuda and put the original date coded steel wheels back on. They were sandblasted and painted and I think they have a very nice look. I need to get some new dog dish caps
My 72 cuda has black steel wheels with small hubcaps. The build sheet under the code w says 01 and under the section that says road wheels I can only make out an eight and cannot tell what the second digit is. I'm kind of surprised it has steel wheels with all of the options that the car came...
I had to put the cuda restoration on hold for a week or so to take care of maintenance on one of my other vehicles. Nothing like putting rocker panels on an excursion.
I'm trying to wrap up the vacuum lines for my 72 cuda with the 340. All of my original pictures seem to show that there was no evidence of an n o x solenoid anywhere in the circuit. I was just wondering did all cars come with one. My car is a Midwest car. Thanks
Good morning I hope everybody had a nice thanksgiving. I'm working in the engine bay and I was wondering if anybody had any pictures for the correct routing of the water lines in an AC car as well as AC hose routing under the hood. My car has a 340 motor. Thank you
I've noticed the lower grille assembly being painted light gray or dark gray on some cars. Mine appears to have never been painted and the same for my 73 cuda with this light tan plastic color. I'm just wondering what is correct
I was wondering how rare or color-coded grills on 1972 cudas. My car apparently had a blue plastic grill which disintegrated into a million pieces. My replacement grill is an argent aftermarket grill
I'm putting my engine bay together and I was wondering if an underhood light was an option because I have a map light as well as a trunk light on my car . I also have a light which might have served as an underhood light in the parts bin I got with the car. Any pictures would be appreciated...
I was looking for suggestions as to what people have used to refinish their dash and ashtrays on cudas and challengers. I know it calls for black suede and I was wondering is there anything that's easy to use. I've already used organisol on the tail panel out of spray can with excellent results...
I'm going to start going through my rally dash in the next couple of weeks and I was wondering if anybody had a write up for testing. I bought a rebuilt gauge set for my other cuda but some of the work inside was just terrible and had to be redone. The current car probably hasn't been on the...
My 72 cuda has factory painted sport mirrors and one of the local restoration experts told me that it should have painted fender turn indicators and not Chrome ones. Does anybody know whether these indicators are Chrome or the painted. I know there were some changes and that I believe 1971 they...
Can anyone identify the two slightly curved pieces of metal that are painted blue in the picture. They have hooks on one side. I'm putting my 72 cuda back together which was originally partially disassembled. Any help will be appreciated thank you
I recently acquired a three speaker dash and would like to put it in my cuda. I currently have the single speaker and the original Chrysler Am radio. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about a conversion or wiring for this. Thanks in advance
Hi I just wanted to briefly introduce myself. I've been playing with cars for almost 30 years and I've only gotten into mopars in the last 8 years. Currently I'm building my second cuda. It's a special order 1972 cuda with a TA motor and all numbers match front to back. It's got a fair number of...
