I just had the very same problem. On firing mine up for the first time after some head work, one of the rivets on the oil baffle was loose underneath the valve cover. It would clang the same at idle and while racing it up.

I've been messing around with the idea of sanding them and giving them the bushed aluminum look. Would I need to clear them to protect them?

My 71 r/t has peg style mounting holes for the Challenger and below that it HSS peg holes for the r/t emblems. I called several suppliers and they all said the same thing. They are stick on's from the factory. I'm at a loss. I can't seem to locate what I need. Anybody had this problem?

They are out of stock and have been for quite some time. He said they are back ordered. Might be up to a year before they come in. now what???? Anyone have any ideas?
