Is there a ground that goes to the harness that feeds the brake lights?

I know this wire must be serving as a ground of some sort as I have blinkers, tail lights with headlights on but no brake lights. If I tap into the brown wire running to the back the brake lights will work on one side. How does this make any since?

it is plugged in on the bracket or switch the other end is just hanging in the floor board.

It is plugged into either the bracket or the side of the brake light switch. Car is a 70 Challenger. I cannot tell as I had rotator cuff surgery and cannot get all the way down there to see it. It is the dark red terminal coming off on the side of the bracket.

Well brake lights are fixed.. New pigtails were wired backwards.. Previous owner.. Front turn signal problem we narrowed down to a bad turn signal socket on the front. Grounding out..

Car off foot on brake brake lights work but drivers side front turn signal on fender, dash and valance come on. Turn headlights on and turn signal light on dash drivers side is on along with fender turn signal and brake lights are on. Will not go off or on with brake pedal. Turn the drivers...

Wow was talking to the wife telling her while typing and forgot to put in Bumper Bracket. This sometimers disease is getting to me.

What size bolts hold the front brackets on? I have my bracket for my 1970 Challenger but do not know what bolts to use.
