    WTB Cuda bulkhead connector fasteners

I’m having a hard time finding original or reproduction fasteners (nuts) that hold the bulkhead connector to the firewall. I have the 2 original screws. Dealing with a 71 cuda, anyone know where to find these fasteners? They’re never on eBay. Thanks!

    833 trans throwout bearing

That's possible... or I also thought about lowering the engine to the K-member, bolt it to the engine mounts, and leaving the cherry picker connected. Then detaching the K-member/front suspension from the car and raising the car high enough to attach the trans, then lowering the car back down...

    833 trans throwout bearing

This is the original motor, trans, and bellhousing. Sounds like I better put the engine in 1st, so that's the plan. Thanks for the input! Wish I was able to assemble it all and lower the car down on it.

    833 trans throwout bearing

Is this how the throwout bearing clips onto the clutch fork? My Cuda was disassembled when I got it, so I don't have anything to reference. Also, I need to put the 383 motor in the car: I have the fan off and the radiator removed, so I should have enough room to lower the engine in place with...

    Fan Clutch 71 Cuda

I'm at the point for installing the Fan Clutch onto my 383 engine (71' Cuda- A/C car). When I got the car, the fan clutch was missing. I have a fan clutch off a 71' Charger 383 AC car, part number 3462107. I can't find any documentation on what I need, anyone know what came on 71 Cuda's 383...

    Looking for AC reference pics

I have a 71 Cuda, 383, with AC. When I got the car the engine was out and completely disassembled. I’d appreciate some reference pictures of the engine Bay Area (AC lines, AC condenser supports, pulleys, brackets, the heater control valve, anything would be appreciated). Wanting to put the...

    71 cuda power steering gearbox

My 71 Cuda was manual steering and I’m making it power steering. I have everything under control except for the power steering gear box. Does any one have a factory 71 cuda gearbox, I’m curious what numbers are cast on it? Would appreciate any feedback on that question. Many thanks!

My 1971 cuda’s 383 engine is getting rebuilt. When I purchased the car 4 years ago the engine was completely disassembled and a few parts were missing. If anyone can give me information or pictures of the following, it would be greatly appreciated! Intake manifold # and bolts (I want to see...

    Repairable Dash?

The dash pads are junk. I'd live with the crack, or I've installed a Dash with ABS core (thru YearOne) and a Dash with a steel core (Dashpad Pros). Both dashes fit and resembled the original pretty close.

    71 cuda grille restoration

I'm in the process of fixing some cracks on my grille, once I get it restored, I'm wondering what the correct paint color should be. In between the headlights are the 6 recessed cheese grater areas, the plastic on the grille is a smooth light grey color. The outer surface of the grille is...

    Rallye Dash

Correct, the orange wire plugs into the female orange wire which has 3 plug-in's. I examined all the wires on the rallye light bar and they look great / no cracks or splices. I'm guessing there's a wire touching someplace it shouldn't be.

    Rallye Dash

I had installed a rallye dash into my 70 cuda awhile ago, it wasn't until recently that I had purchased the Rallye style light bar. I removed the non-rallye light bar and upon installing the rallye light bar, it lights up as soon as it touches the dash frame (or anything metal), when the key...

Ralley Cluster for a 72 cuda will it work for 70cuda

For anyone installing a rallye cluster and wanting to use the original non-rallye dash wiring, here's what I did: http://rt-eng.com/mediawiki/index.php/Dash-Worx_E_body_conversion_harness

Ralley Cluster for a 72 cuda will it work for 70cuda

If you purchase the new 70' rallye harness, it will hook up to your 72 cluster. If your old dash harness is still in good shape, I'd simply do a little splicing and add the tach & oil pressure wiring. It's easy, and much cheaper.
