i got this 440 with purchase of another vehicle, and after looking into it, I believe that this might be a 440-6 motor. all casting #'s and stampings i could find are listed below. if you need any additional information, let me know. this a motor is complete intake to oil pan, but needs full rebuild. if possbile i would like to re-unite this with the original car if its still out there somewhere.
has flat top pistons with valve reliefs and 3 bolt cam...i know i need the build sheet to confirm if this came from a real 6 pack car, but so far its looking like this may be the case.
