Big Block engines -
1967 - 383 casting date is 5 - 4 - 67 ( PIC # 1 )
came from a charger with 67k mi -
been sitting in dry storage since 1997 when pulled.
its all apart in good condition - DO NOT HAVE PISTONS/RODS
PARTS I DO HAVE - crank with balancer, intake + stock exhaust manifolds - 2 sets of dressed heads with covers, oil pan, water pump with timing cover, dist, pully's - oil pump, alternator, starter, motor mounts, coil, 2 bbl carb, other parts

(((The story from the guy I got the motor from - he bought the charger to get the motor from it for his 73 charger ( his 400 was bad ) the 383 was leaking oil and burning smoke. He pulled it and disassembled to get it rebuilt. He may have the pistons/rods? He was called out to duty overseas - so it sat all these years then I bought his 73 charger. He let me have the engine. )))
1974 - 440 from a dodge truck - ( PIC #2 )
standard bore - sent to machine shop - boiled/cleaned - mag-ed - honed
cam bearings with freeze plugs installed.
$350
small block automatic trans - has all attachments - no convertor
dont know the history -
$50
