Dome Light Position

Well I had a my headliner put in last week and they/I did not mark the location of the dome light. I am chicken to cut the headliner and would like to ask the crowds if they have pictures, guidance - anti-chicken advice towards how to handle this issue. Pictures and guidance would be the most helpful.

On my 71 Challenger the center of the dome light is 25 1/2 inches from the center of the interior windshield trim screw, directly behind the rear view mirror; also it is 25 1/4 inches from the side of the roof. You should be able to feel that is the correct area and you need to cut a small hole for the wire anyway. The dome light base will cover the small hole. You can probe the area with a needle to locate and mark the screw holes that correspond to the dome base. Use a red or blue sharpie felt pen to mark the holes.
