Need help in identifying the correct length for a 70 Challenger T/A Automatic driveshaft. It seems that the more I look, the more different lengths are listed as correct.
Thanks!

Here are a few charts. The T/A would have the same driveshaft as any Challenger 340 with either the A-833 or 727 auto.

My 1971 service manual also shows 45.60 for a 340 with either the 833 or 727, with an 8 3/4 rear; in a Challenger.

Thanks for the information! It seems that 45.6 is the correct length. I have a shaft that is 45.25 long and my buddy swears it will work in a T/A. What do you think?

Yes it will work if you have the correct yoke, it is only 1/4 in or so shorter.,.
