I chose Cuda because I've only owned Plymouths. (It didn't start out purposefully.) But by the time I bought my A-body Duster? I realized that I have never owned a Dodge. Thus the Cuda was my E-body choice. No since breaking from my accidental tradition.

So what's your taste?

In 1970 when they first came out, I liked the Challenger performance hood and exhaust tips better than the Cuda's. So the 71 Challenger is what I ordered new in 1970. I still have it after selling it in '78 and getting it back in '89. During the time when I didn't have it I found another '71 Challenger which I also still have. So I guess the Challengers have always been in my blood, along with a 68 Charger which I ended up trading in for my Challenger:(.

I understand. I have a Drag Race 74 Duster 451 motor. A 69 GTX 440 (street stock) And my stupid fast drag build 70 Cuda with 904 ci. I started with a 68 Satellite 383. Then my first GTX. Just sold a 69 Roadrunner 383 (stock street that I just ended up not having time to love. So hopefully new owner will give her the TLC) So for me? Plymouths. (Accept for my 03 Dodge Ram Cummins. Never seen a Plymouth truck?)

I have owned a 71 340 Cuda, 74 Plymouth Duster, 70 Challenger, 69 383-s Barracuda, 79 Power Wagon 4x4, and 78 Dodge 4x4 pick up, and a 71 Barracuda (my current project). I guess by this I am ok with both, but I do prefer Cudas over Challengers by a hair. Rod

I keep hearing of a new or concept Cuda from Chrysler. But never seen any progress? I have always wondered how they would badge such an effort? Chrysler Cuda? Out of their Mopar Performance? A Dodge Cuda would just be WRONG!

i'm a bit young to have bought a new car in the 70s but my first car in the early 80s was a 1968 barracuda. The movie Phantasm really introduced my to the 71 Cuda and i feel in love with it... mine looks pretty much like the movie car. I do like Challengers as well (also own a '71)... but Cuda's are ahead with me... you can't go wrong with either though.

My high school best friend had a 69 Super Bee, we used to argue which was better, Plymouth or Dodge. I would love to have both of them today. Rod

I just like the look of Plymouth. Roadrunner/GTX over Charger/Superbee. Cuda over Challenger. Satellite over Cornet. Even Superbird over Daytona. But I certainly understand those who disagree.

I like all of them......just amazing all the cool options and configurations from Mopar.......I've only had Dodge's so far, but I have to say any 1971 Cuda with a shaker, window louvers, and billboards is gorgeous

I've owned my 70 Cuda since 72. It actually is the first car I ever bought.
So I'd have to say I like Cuda's better, but 70-71 Challengers look pretty darn good too!!
In 70, Plymouth had the styling hands down over Dodge in the B body line!

I like them both, but I always considered the Challenger a secretary's car. The Challenger is a little longer, more chrome, more body line, a little more foo-foo that seemed to lean towards a lady's car. The 'Cuda is more meat and muscle in appearance. I prefer 'Cudas...but I did look at buying a Chally R/T 'Vert before I found my Barracuda. I do prefer the '70 'Cuda over the '71.

BOTH! With the right colors and options. They are each very cool.

The purple car below looks great! Luv the 1971

When wrong colors and options they don’t work, just like almost any car.

I also had a 70 Cuda, but no digital pics. My daily driver is a new JL Jeep, Mopar all the way!

Hard to say.
Owned mostly Challengers; mostly 1970's and one 71 vert.
Had one 70 Gran Coupe vert, was a cool car but rough.
If I owned a Cuda, it would have to be an AAR.
Like them both, but I'm a Challenger fan by default. (Especially convertibles)

I prefer the Challengers longer and more pronounced lines but who doesn’t like a nice Cuda???

Challenger!

Of course I was spoiled from the start. Not because I own one now, but from the time when I first laid eyes on one in '69. You could say it was "Love at first sight." Believe me, I have been around and through every "A", "B" and "E" there is. Been to a dozen Mopar shows and paid close attention to each year and while I can say I have "Preference" over each body and each year, my eye finds that "Something" with the Challenger. This said, even after working at a Plymouth dealership for a year in '73.

I always felt the styling was cleaner on the Barracudas. I still have the one I bought new in 1972. It is pretty much as I ordered it except I added a hockey stripe.
