Thanks for the tip on the gasket. Would need one eventually.
I picked one up; decent price point.
I always wondered why a metal gasket was so much $$$?

I have reused them many times. Never had a problem with them sealing. As long as the head and manifold are flat it will be fine. They cost too much not to!

FYI
Not to beat this to death but;:BangHead:
Prices run mild to wild.
There was a seller on ebay looking to get $264.95 for this part

I found the 2946105 gasket at
P2946105 - MOPAR Shield. 340 exhaust manifold | Factory Chrysler Parts, Bartow Fl
for $184.86

OK with the Mancini price since I already ordered one, but this is $5.00 cheaper then their price if anyone is in the market.

They may have other Mopar parts we can order at a decent price.

Hello,
Just happened to be on line when you replied
Thanks - Maybe I'm cheap - hard paying ~$180 for a heat shield...
I was hoping there would be some (possibly used) at a much lower price.
Thanks all - I"ll keep looking

I have a # 2946105 NOS gasket I just found in my parts, $180.00 USD plus shipping. I'm in Canada on the west coast so shipping would be by mail only.
I can supply pictures if anyone's interested.
