I bought a new set of aluminum Mopar Performance, black wrinkle valve covers from my local dodge dealer. These are for a small block. the covers seam to be to long to sit properly on top of the 340 heads. I used the thick cork gaskets and just a little sealer. Can not stop from leaking on back corners. Wondering anyone else has experienced this problem.

Never a problem. Check cover and head pan rail for straightness. Check the covers do not sit on the intake when tightened down. It shouldn’t take to much permatex to seal them up.
