TA Spoiler

Does the TA spoiler have a black mask on the trunk lid ,I know the ends have black tape on the fender
If so how far down the rear of the lid is there any body color paint between the trunk lid trim & the Spoiler or does the black continue under the trim.

Yes, it’s painted about 1.5” up the lid and including the lip. Here's a pic from Troy's bronze T/A.

I have the engineering drawing somewhere and it shows the black paint extending up the lid to almost the full width of the spoiler. However, most of the originals I have seen are like Troy's car. I did get photo of a survivor Green Go T/A that had the wide black like the drawing, but that's the only car I've seen painted that way.
