I hope this doesn't sound dumb but here goes... What is the widest wheel and tire
combo I can mount on my Stock 70 Challenger RT ?
Right now I'm running P235/60R15s front and P255/60R15s rear.
Any help is appreciated.

Measure from the spring to the wheel well. that is as wide as you can go without moving anything. Probably about a 295 maybe a 305 with perfect wheel offset. Measure both sides because sometimes the axle isn't well centered. Move the spring an inch and a 315 will fit. I think I've heard of 325 or 335 fitting in the wheel house after moving the spring further.

Hey Big Al,
Without any mods, l tucked a pair of 275 x 40 x 17” under my Cuda. They ride on 17” x 9-1/2” Centerlines. Unfortunately, Centerline does not offer this series anymore. I used a Percy Wheel Fitment tool to determine the correct offset. They’re a bit spedy ($75.00) but money well spent. Good luck finding the perfect combo.

A 315 requires more than just an inch. I have mine moved into the frame rails (3") and it is tight all around with 316/60/15 D/R's but I have my car sitting pretty low for a 30" tall tire.

Hope this helps
Running 255- 50-17 rear- could go a hair wider and taller
225-50-17 front
Firm Feel Suspension
Car sits about an inch lower than stock
Handles and rides really well, corners very flat
Running 17 in wheels to fit over the Wilwood brakes
Next step to get 17"magnum 500 style wheels-not a fan of what I have
enjoy your ride

the A body rear I picked up needed them added on, someone have moved them way inboard like for a drag car. so yes I had to have them added @ 44 inch center to center for things to line up. the keystones 15 x 10s did not offer diffarnt back spacings but they are a deep dish wheel.
