I am curious about the original intake manifolds. I have a 70 Cuda which appears that the original owner changed out the intake for an aftermarket aluminum one. Did the cast iron intakes have the VIN on them? To put this back to completely original should I get any BB cast 4 bbl intake? Thank you.

The VIN is not on the manifold. A casting number is. Do you have a 383 or 440?

Pick 1 up just so u have it. It can then be swapped on at a later date. The date code should be up to 3 months prior to ur cars/motors build date. Kim
