I recently acquired this 70 Challenger and I dont have the time to restore. It is numbers matching 340, pistol grip 4 Speed A/C car. It is a true FM3 paint code. Very solid car with minor rust in the front floor pans, trunk pan and around the rear and front window. The car was originally built in LA but made its way to Texas. The owner I bought it from picked it up in 1989 and stuffed it in her barn with plans to restore but never got around to it. Has all interior in decent shape minus carpet. Have motor and trans that match to the car, but needs rebuild. Car needs restoration, nut is a solid start. id like 18k but very motivated to sell. contact me with offers and we will go from there. Located at 14987 A. Camage Ave. Sonora Ca. 95370

please post a picture or two of the car being pulled out of the "barn"...that is if it's true that it really came from a barn. Truth in advertising and integrity?

The pictures provided are fine for the ad, if anything post a pic of the inside of the trunk and engine room please. The owner is not stating there’s added value because it was in a barn and his price is very fair. Where it was stored is unimportant just that it has been stored out of the weather for decades and it looks like it. Nice car and good luck finding a new home for it!

Sweet! Thanks for appeasing everyone. Thanks for posting the fender tag info.
You might want to go back and edit the first post you made and go to the heading and mark it as sold. That will help you as there will be people inquiring about if it sold for years.
Did ya get your asking price for it? congrats in any case.

That’s a lot of car there! Personally, I think I would ignore the stripe delete code...

The A66 Registry collects data on 1970 A66 Challengers. Serial numbers, SPD's, options on the cars, colors, and other information including ownership. Like most registries, information is generally kept private as per owners preferences. If you have a question about a car, options or other data, I would be glad to share any data that you might be interested in. Currently, there are over 150 in the Registry. I collect the information for the A66 Registry Facebook site; take a look! https://a66challenger.com/?fbclid=IwAR3h3oPWcnrCpoQ3CbdRSKo_aoQPYtiogwyyMzlfP_33_uZiUlGeta_sZIU
