On May 9 of this year I celebrated 50 years as owner of my 1972 Cuda 340. How many other original owners are here on the site?

May of 71, i ordered a Cuda. Got it sometime in June, pretty much at the end of the model year.
Kept it for 45 years before i sold it off.
Changed owners 4 more times, since i sold it.

I bought my '71 Challenger R/T brand new in Nov. '70.
Sold it in '77 and got it back in '89 and still have it today fully restored.

I am the original owner of my 1970 'cuda 340. I ordered the car through an Army PX while in Vietnam. It is still a number matching car but has undergone a cosmetic restoration in 1996. Her name is Ebony, due to the TX9 paint code. Ebony has won numerous awards over her 53-life span. I still have her, and she gets used almost every weekend.

Hello. Coming up on 50. My 74 Cuda was delivered Nov 1973. I beat the hell out of it when I was young, then it sat for a number of years. Had it restored. Since it was a 318 car did not feel the need to have it done to spec and did what I wanted to it.

Love the stripe. It's different and very unique.

Cool stories. It's great to hear when someone is able to hang on to there car all those years through all of life's up and downs. I have owned my 70' Charger 33 years in Aug since high school. I am not the original owner since it is older than I am, but it is my second 70 Charger as a teenager. My 4th Charger. Yes, I had 4 Chargers by the time I was 18.

I had a 70 Charger RT too and sold it in 1981. Could kick myself but things were way different back then. Don't ever let that go.

Thank you. It's not original to the car, you could only get black when I ordered it, so no stripe when new.

Bought my 71 Challenger vert in NOV1970. August build original FC7 car. Have had it ever since. Just got it back from a restoration shop (body and paint only) and am now working to put it all back together. She's part of the family now.

What do you mean part of the family "now". Sounds like it has been part of the family since new. Very cool story and nice car.
