Any photos of the donor car that evolved into this?

There wasn't really a donor car involved. We found a stripped down (rust free) 71 B Body and only used part of the roof, the B Pillars and the 4 Doors. Other than that, everything else has been fabricated with new reproduction metal components.

I have some pictures the "donor" parts before we started the assembly and will post them soon. Here is a photo of the stripped hull.

It just keeps getting better. One of my favorite builds. More pics and narration.

Thank you Leo! Here is one of the first bolt on parts that was acquired for this project. Notice the difference in this Wiper Motor compared to the typical Assembly Line Units. It is one of the earliest dated Motors made for the 1970 model year. On the very early units, the barrel is longer and the stamped numbers are smaller. Also included in the photo is the VIN plate that will be displayed and riveted to the dash pad.

Here are some past photos of the stripped hull. The rocker panels were the first sections to be replaced. The package tray area was also cut out and replaced with a 70 Cuda section once the body pieces were fitted.

what are you going to use for interior pieces ?

The interior will consist of a front bench and regular rear seat. The door panels will be custom fabricated with the same basic inlaid pattern that the original units exhibited.

We have done a 180 and decided to build the 4 door E-Body using Roger Johnson's memory and depiction of the original concept car. It will be a red Barracuda with a flat hood, bench seat, hub caps, (not sure what style) a 318 engine, column shift automatic, etc....... We are still trying to find out the color of the interior.

With the project taking on a totally different direction, we hope some of you will offer suggestions regarding unique build features for the finished product. What interior color would look good with a red exterior? We are going to try to stay true to the real concept vehicle but will consider adding (feasible) options if we are not able to obtain actual build information.

Here are a few more that show the car in its earlier assembly stages.

Here are some old pictures that I just stumbled across the other day. They show some of the alterations we had to make to the B Pillar Post in order for the shape to fit the door lines. Ironically, the wind-lace lip had to be shaped the opposite of its original configuration. I also found one of the doors when we were fabricating the new locations for the door handles. (New updates coming soon.)

Neat project.
Is there any proof this four door concept car ever existed besides somebody saying "I worked for Chrysler and seen one"? The E body would be worthless today if they would have made a four door back in the day.
What's next...........Mini Van?
How can you just make up (and better yet use) a MOPAR serial number?
Keep up the great work.

Are you keeping the wheelbase at 108" or is it going to be stretched.
How about a fold down back seat like the early Cuda's?
