When I had my aar 292140 I recall, I couldn't find an aar block for the life of me. as soon as I sold it several showed up I could have purchased.

Here's another.

1970 Mopar T/A 340 Six Pack short block

This is for a freshly rebuilt original T/A shortblock. Professionally done by a good reputable machine shop . Stock crank and rods out of this block not pieced together. 30 over . Crank was cut 10. Original rods and forged pistons. All balanced. This is out of a AAR Cuda with the vin still on it. Block was dipped and hot tanked
No cracks. All new rings and bearings. New cam bearings. Shortblock is all assembled and install cam and upper end ready to go. . Casting date is 11/24/69. Real nice fresh short block.

I am looking for any real TA block, my car came with original tranny but a 68 340 block. I am having a 70 340 block being built now for the car with TA heads, offset rockers, original six pack date coded correct carbs, and original air cleaner. If I can find a reasonably priced block it will sit in the garage and go with the car wherever it goes. Last of my vin is 7262. Thanks and I will look into that one up there detmatt, thanks

Someone should start a website data base where people can look for their original engines. That would be cool. I've got a story of two of my friends who didn't know each other at the time, one had a 70 Cuda 383 4 speed car without an engine and the other friend had bought a Dart at auction because of the built 383 engine in it. Turned out the engine in the Dart matched my other friend's Cuda. Pretty Cool.
