I believe the gas caps I'm buying from Stant are not correct. The fit is lacking a "tight seal" and not properly sealing. There is no rubber to metal seal I think. It is NOT a locking gas cap as I want to go stock. BUT...it seems there is only the Stant cap to fit. Can anyone tell me IF there IS a vented, NON-locking cap for this Cuda?
Thanks, Mike

73 was a year of its own.. they get like 50 bucks for nos caps online or swap meets. I ended up swapping my 73 to a 70 filler neck so can use a cheap cap

Thank you racekilla, that makes sense. I've ordered 2 from online and each was a Stant and each had same mounting problem. I will be searching the swap meets and mopar yards. I was told to try the yards about 6 months ago, but this car is a show car and wanted "new" if possible. BUT...I need one that functions properly much more than looks! Besides, my builder CAN turn any part into a work of art with time and skill.
Thanks once again.
