In New York 1970 car's didn't have a title. They only had a registration to prove ownership.

Interesting. Any chance we can see that paperwork??
out of respect for the original owner, i decided not to broadcast his personal information. the certificate of sale shows the name of the dealer, purchaser, and source of ownership which is chrysler. i also have the "retail installment contract", a nice way of calling the finance agreement. $75.79 a month @ 12.83%.

You might go to the DMV to see what they would require to register the car, if that's what your trying to do or how to go about selling it in that state. I registered a 70 Dart that hadn't been registered for several years and I had to make a pencil shading of the dash VIN and that is how I got it registered in NY.

I couldn't sell it if it were mine, Id remove all the drag racing parts put it back to original and give it a more gentle life as a street car.

How about a current engine room pic??

here it is going together. ill post more. shaker stuff is a pain in the butt just trying to get to the carbs. somewhere along the way the engine bay was sprayed the wrong color and im still waiting for the wiper motor! dyno pulls were from 4100 to 6000, at 5400 it was 500 and climbing. at 6000 it made 521 thru stock exhaust manifolds. bsfc was real smooth .529 avg, a/f was 12.3 over the entire pull. the way it starts runs and drives is evidence the carbs are right.
