Has anyone fit an Edelbrock Air Gap intake in an E body with stock breather/Rallye hood/small block?

i have an air gap on a 360 in a 71 challenger with a rally hood but i had to use a low profile air cleaner to get it to fit

I have on a 71 340 with a cast Aluminum Mopar performance air cleaner. It fit fine until I added under hood insulation, then I had to get a lower profile air cleaner element. Use Playdo to measure the gap with the hood closed.

Air gap on 71 challenger 340. Removed under hood insulation, used dollar store play doh to verify It cleared, about 3/8” gap. I also have a cool carb spacer between carb and manifold. Can’t remember how thick spacer is. Decided to run aftermarket air cleaner bottom picture.
