Hi,

maybe a common problem:
When i turn my wiper switch i can clearly hear the motor working. It increases speed on the second position too but the wiper arms wont move even a bit.
I can move them by hand easily without any resistance doesnt matter if the wiper motor runs or not.
Is there a gearbox that tends to brake on these motors?
If yes is it fixable?

Thank you guys.

Take your cowl screens off and check to see if all the linkage is still connected. Maybe a clip broke or fell off.

You were right, Sir. ;)
I should have seen that by myself.
The plastic push nut on the wiper linkage broke and the arm bejond the cowl screen spinned free.
Just ordered a new push nut.
Should there be a plastic spacer on the inner side as well? Havent found one yet...but would make sense to me.

Hey there @Cudafor36 !
I actually have a nicely refurbished motor installed.
The problem was that the previous owner forgot to install the linkage retainer so only the plastic bushing hold the arm.
The bushing finally broke. Now i ordered a new kit here at a german dealer. ;)
