Heater control lever knob removal?

Hey guys, I am replacing my heater control bezel because the original has holes drilled in it for a switch and an oil pressure gauge. I'm struggling with removing the knobs from the levers so I can pull the levers out. How do the knobs come off of the levers?

They don't. You have to remove the circlips that hold the levers in order to pull them out.

Heater control knobs are held onto the ends of the levers with a small, black spring type clip. I don't believe that I took a picture of the clip when I had mine apart. You can take them apart if you are careful and patient.
