Asking for some feedback on hydro boost kits.
1973 Challenger Power Disc/Drum car. 383 of unknown origin, pulling only 11 inches of vacuum at idle.
I'm looking at complete kits to avoid searching/making items to adapt to my specific needs.
What kit did you use? Would you use the same one...
Hello All,
I need to replace the Combination valve (Kelsey Hayes KH 89410) on my '73 Challenger. Power brakes. Disc up front. Drum in back. 1.031" bore master cylinder.
Planning on installing this one from Master Power Brakes: VL3360K
Anyone have experience with this valve? Or a better one to...
I installed Don Gould's HRR688 Ignition Box W/Coil (FBO Ignition - Home of the HRR688) and now want to delete the unused ballast resistor and cleanup the left-over wiring.
This car has obviously been through a few ignition changes and there are several splices that need to be corrected.

Hi All,
Working my way through wiring issues and finally reached a major milestone - the lights are working again - it can stay out after dark!
Now focusing on interior lighting. All working now except the dash lights for which there is a simple reason; the PO decided the car didn't need the...
I plan to cut out some of the PO wiring hacks and am looking for a source of the molded connectors. Are these available?
Also, where are the best places to buy colored wire? I've found "Marine" tinned copper wire on Amazon, but have no idea if this is a good choice.
Thanks everyone!
What determines the correct set of shifting rods? The cross member based on the year of the body or the year of the trans? Or something completely different?
I have a 1973 Challenger that was converted from a 340 automatic to a 383 4 speed. Looking online I find there are two sets of rods...
I'm looking for headlight, panel dimmer & 3 speed wiper motor switches for a '70 Challenger R/T and don't want to buy the wrong items.
Illustration page 8-62 of the 70_71_Mopar_Parts_Catalog3.pdf shows these part numbers:
8-53-270 Headlight switch
23-67-160 Wiper switch
8-53-150 Instrument...
Going thru a project car I bought to see what's what. Troubleshooting a fuel gauge problem (fixed) and discovered the sending unit was replaced with a modern two pipe affair. Two questions. 1) I'm not using the return pipe and want to find a more attractive way to cap it off than what's there...
Just getting going on this project and thinking safety first.
The car is missing a few parts on the emergency brake setup. The foot pedal and related cable is there. The rear drum cables and rear connectors are there. Nothing in between. Looks like I need the intermediate cable and a few...
Hello fellow Mopar Fans!
After many years off the Mopar reservation, I couldn't resist the big block bug any longer and bought someone else's project. It started life as a '73 Rallye 340 automatic and morphed into a ’70 clone of the 1971 Mopar movie classic Vanishing Point car. As expected...
