WTB 1970-71 OEM Road Lamp Housing Plus

I seek a crummy-yet-restorable or even nice condition single road lamp for a survivor 1970 'Cuda. I'm prepared to buy a set of two, if needs be. Ideally, the lamp housing would include the nut on the bolt, wiring from the bulb to the harness, not horribly corroded outer chrome ring with...

    WIW Barracuda Grill Trim

I'm wondering what these are worth. I have two Barracuda Grill Trim pieces (not those surrounding the headlights). I may list them for sale on FEBO or seek a complete set. I think I see a seller listing and selling the same full set over and over at $400.

    Door panel repair

What is the best glue to use on this kick panel repair? My attempts to repair in the past using PVC, model styrene and ABS plastic glues have failed miserably.

    Rally Hood Name Plate Retainers

I've seen two types of retainers on those little pointy posts behind the rally hood name plates. #1 white plastic sleeves #2 metal clips (pictured) Are both of these correct for all years of E-body rally hood name plates? I'm hunting for some of these, and think I could fabricate the plastic...

WIW 1970 Factory OEM Go-Wing Setup

I've been looking for an original Go-Wing (rear spoiler) for a 1970 Barracuda genuine J81 car. I found one on Craigslist a few days ago in Southern California, but the guy wanted $1800 for the full trunk lid with factory spoiler and hardware. It appeared to be sun-damaged and faded on top, but...

1970 E-body Factory Black Engine Bay?

I'm reviewing a 1970 E-body LA car, with a black engine bay. This BS23 `Cuda car has factory (albeit, faded) original paint, but the engine bay is painted black. On closer inspection, whomever painted the engine bay did a very nice job. There are some places where the red under color shows...

Are these bumper support to frame bolts?

Can anyone confirm? I don't have the access I need to confirm if these bolts are the ones used to bolt the front bumper support to the frame. The (1970-71) parts book does not appear to list part numbers for these bolts in the bumper section.

    Easy Throttle Holding During Break-In

The discussion in another thread about removing the springs during camshaft break in has me wondering which technique you guys like best to hold the engine throttle while breaking in an engine. I have used zip ties, so I can watch and listen from the engine compartment.

WTB OEM "Cuda 440-6" Shaker Name Plate

I have a shaker hood with only one name plate. I see the two-pin versions all over the place, but I cannot seem to find an original 3-pin version. I believe the part number was #3462273 or #2998793. I have a replacement 2-pin name plate on hand, but I'd really like to find the 3-pin, as it...

22-inch Radiator on a Shaker car?

Can anyone confirm for me the 1970 Cuda 440 shaker cars ONLY had 26-inch radiators? Shaker equals Max Cool option, does it not? Coming out of the local supermarket, this evening, I’m crossing the parking lot and I hear a long duration cam motor. A nice one. I turn to see a hemi orange 1970...

    Movie: In Time

I'm not far into this movie, I'm not sure it's all that great. A movie taking place in the future, and I see this in one scene. I'm like, WTH as I do a double take. No wonder AMD sold out of hoods, it was for this movie !! (555=ha ha) Is that a Dodge RAM back their? or a GM/Chevy, because...

    Clear Coat Over Aged Paint

I was talking with a body work and paint guy, and he shared in 2019, he clear coated an 1970 Dodge Challenger with original paint. The client wanted to preserve the oxidized and vintage look of the car. Has anyone ever heard of this before? Over the years, this car had been aggressively...

    Elastomeric Bumper Hook?

I cannot find a bumper jack hook for the elastomeric bumpers in the parts book for the 1970 Barracuda line. I have the one for chrome bumpers, but it seems like it would damage the front bumper if used there. Any idea if there is a special hook for these bumpers? And if so, what the part...
