Tod is a cool guy , comes with 440, 727 trans and lights to make it like a '70. Really excited for it to be delivered ! Converting garage to make room for it. Last one turned out awesome so I'll post lots of progress pictures of this one if it doesn't make everyone too bored.
Something looks like it's missing, I posted earlier about how my car drove kind of funny and the front sway bar doesn't look right. Could anyone post a photo of how their '70 Chally mounts to the lower control arms and then a photo of how it mounts to the K member? The alignment on mine seems...
I currently have 11" drums on the front and can't stand that they don't brake evenly. If you really lay on the brakes there is a small swerve usually to the left. I've adjusted them for the last time and want to go with disks.
Just found this on E-Bay, knew some one was looking for one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Dodge-Challenger-SE-RT-Rear-Finish-tail-quarter-panel-end-trim-/161876109702?hash=item25b0916986:g:ZZ8AAOSwo6lWNli7&vxp=mtr

There is no known cure. My car is nearly done and I'm starting to look for another project car. I'm a junkie and can't stop. Willing to trade kidney for '70 Cuda.
A few days ago some one was looking for a this part. It is currently listed on E-Bay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/70-74-MOPAR-E-BODY-A-C-LH-VENT-DUCT-Challenger-Barracuda-AC-Air-Conditioning-/161838001282?fits=Year%3A1970|Make%3ADodge|Model%3AChallenger&hash=item25ae4bec82&vxp=mtr
I tried using this protectant for the first time today and what a disappointment. $20.00 down the drain. It actually looked worse after using it than just cleaning. All dry and streaky looking. What does anyone else use to make their dashes look nicer?
I'm glad that I didn't have to throw anything out. For you that were quick to send the postage, I sent stuff out this morning. "Thanks" from my wife. There is just a little more room in the garage now. Will look for more free stuff, I know that I have more to get rid of.
Speedometer works fine but needs the needle reinstalled ( replacement needle included) and the clock works if you tap on the motor so maybe cleaning it will help. $50.00 + shipping from 33948.
