    70 Hemi ‘cuda

I followed this auction very closely, as it is very, very similar to my car. I think you stole it. I was expecting to see it sell at the 150-165k range. It looks like a very honest car. Well done!

Has anyone run a turbo action 727 full manual transbrake valvebody on the street

I ran a manual shift, in my car, for over forty years, with no incidents. I ran a modified, home made one, and then a cheetah. The only drawback, was the freewheeling first gear, when coming to a stop. The only reason I switched, to a stock vb was because the car was restored. I ran a nine inch...

70 Challenger R/T California Gas Cap

Hi, Attached, per your request via pm, is a pic of the back of my 1970 'Cuda ecs cap. The back looks similar to the Challenger ecs cap, I think. Bill

Correct type gas cap for vapor system.

My'70 California car, with ECS has a pressure vacuum cap that is original to the car. I think you're good to go.

Oil Breather 1 vs 3 port for ‘71

My understanding is that 1970 California cars ONLY had ECS, but ALL 1971 and up cars came with ECS.

    What ARE these things called??

I'm no gen I hemi expert, but I think they may be the quides for the sparkplug wires. My gen II certainly doesn't have any.

    1970 Challenger AM/FM radio, 3 speaker dash

The AM/FM radio equipped cars all came with a 3 speaker dash (same for the 8 track cars). There were two speakers in the rear package tray, as well. The knob is a fader switch that controls the front speakers vs. the rear. Hope this helps.

FOR SALE 70-1 426 Hemi valve covers

Are you sure they're '70-'71? They look more like '66-'69.

    Radio Rebuild

Plus $150.00, for the 8 track. That's still a bargain!

    Looking at Buying - Thoughts?

It looks to be a nice car. The owner was on ebodies.org, about a month, or two ago, asking pricing opinions. You may want to do a search.

    Mecum Monterey

There was also a pretty nice AAR, that did not sell, at 90k. The red vert, was no sale, at 70k. The real bargains were the factory light weights, and superstock belvedere. They sold, no reserve, at 65k (max wedge), 75k('65 hemi), and 65k (hemi belvedere.

    Fuel pump issues.

I can't say enough good things, about Then and Now, VERY reasonable. I shipped my 4024 to them on Thursday, from the west coast, and had it back in Eight days! The Mancini kit is incomplete, btw.

    Cuda Cowl Paint ?

Mine is an early build (Oct.) '70, and it is blacked out. I heard that they stopped doing it, later in the year.

    WTB 70 cuda hemi

If that car is out of the Sacramento, Ca. area, I know it. It is an incredibly solid and fresh car, and worth the money you paid, as I have spoken to Eric, about it. However, the OP indicated that he didn't want a trailer queen, so I take that to mean a driver quality car. Your beauty, is far...

    WTB 70 cuda hemi

I'm not sure that either of those is exactly what the OP is looking for...
