Trans Won't Engage After Sitting Overnight

If the cable is leaking the cup seal on the shaft is bad, on mine the shaft was worn, 98000 miles, so changed the whole speedo unit. Make sure it is indexed to the correct number.

    Speedo Cable Leaking.

If fluid is coming out of the cable it means the cup seal on the gear shaft is bad. I wound up buying a whole new gear assembly since the shaft was worn. Drain tranny fluid before removing unit. Bought mine on eBay.

Sway bar looks not quite right to me.

Took the end links out and found rubber bushings chewed up and the spacer is 2.25 long, would any one know what the spacer sleeve length should be? Looks like it is about .75 to long.

Sway bar looks not quite right to me.

After studying the pictures it looks like maybe the spacer is to long. Will crawl under there and check it out a lot closer. The previous owner thought he was a automotive genius, I have been fixing his screw ups for two years. Should have kept his hands in his pockets!

Sway bar looks not quite right to me.

While changing the front shocks on the 72 Challenger I noticed the sway bar rubber bushings didn’t look quite right. Are they correct or is something out of whack. Checked the manual and couldn’t get a clear picture. Thanks in advance.

    Hood insulation

Received my new hood insulation and was wondering, is there any good reason for the hole in the middle? When these were assembled did the insulation retaining clips all go in one direction or we’re they hit and miss. Thanks Gary
