I looked up the specs in my 70 service manual
70 440 6 barrel manual trans. 70 440 6 barrel auto trans.
pt number 3438314 pt number 2875982
prestolte number IBS 4014 prestolte number IBS 4014D

Advance centrifugal distributor degrees at distributor
0 to 4.5 @ 650 RPM 0 to 5.3 @ 600 RPM
The specs are identical at 900 RPM and at 2400 RPM.
This is the only spec that is different, everything else is identical.
You could probably get away with running it, or try to find someone that could possibly recurve your distributor, or keep looking for the correct one.
I hope this gives you the information you need.

None of the 1970 distributors will work correctly with today's fuel formulations, you to get an Electronic distributor Properly curved for your exact engine and vehicle. It needs to be set up with an adjustable vac can to run off Constant Manifold Vacuum with max vacuum stroke limiters installed and one of our Limiter plates to get the initial up if you want it to run correctly.
