For sale is an authentic Chrysler manufactured front bench seat for a 1970 - 74 Cuda or Challenger. This seat is a great candidate for restoration and is priced to sell. Build Date codes on the seat are as follows: Bench Seat 7-11-69; Right Seat Back 9-16-69; Left Seat Back 9-06-69.
This seat has been completely disassembled for inspection to ensure proper operation and prior to reassembly; all machine threads were cleaned and “chased” with the appropriate tap, finding no stripped machine treads in either the track mounting bolt threads or the hinge cover machine screw threads. One seat back panel is original to the seat and the other (white) one was taken from another seat to complete the pair. These bench seat back panels are extremely rare and hard to find. While both seat back panels would be considered in rough condition, they can be restored by Just Dashes where they will re-skin the panels making them look like new.
There are a few parts that will need to be acquired to make this seat complete. The missing parts are: both inner hinge covers next to the arm rest, one left outer hinge cover, and a set of seat tracks. I have a set of new bench seat seat
for sale separately for $135.00 if originals cannot be found.
