I wouldn't worry about it. There are a lot of quality cars for sale right now. Some are just not worth the hassle of finding out about. I had the same issue a couple of months ago with a car for sale on the board. My customer moved on to another one and bought it.

drive out here and look at the car.
I took it for a 10 mile ride yesterday.
theres no hassle .
I said what the car is .
think about it.
its a real ek2 340 4 speed car.
what more do you want to know. (the build date)??
theres too many pic collectors out there

We're not picture collectors, we're enthusiasts. What's the difference which 5 pictures you post on the forum? One of them might as well be of the cars pedigree. If the car hasn't been added to a registry yet, this might be the last public opportunity to do so. These cars are a dying breed and there are plenty of people out there that like to keep track of them.

I am one of those individuals who appreciate the 340 powered cars. Your CUDA is cool with the Go Mango paint and 4 speed, 340 drive train. As mentioned in the previous posts, these cars are special and are getting harder to find. Enthusiasts like to see build dates, what options the car came with and to verify authenticity. I am one of those people who like to track the 340 cars. Why? I own one and enjoy seeing how some of the other survivor cars that are left are optioned out. This is simply done for fun and interest in this type of Challenger/Cuda. Your car would most likely sell to one of these enthusiasts like myself who appreciate what you have. In reality, the information would help build interest in your car and promote a possible sale. Many sellers block out the 6 digit sequence number to feel more comfortable! It is the way the market works! Good luck with the sale of your neat car!

I have traveled further than 4500 miles round trip to buy a car. I won't guy a car without the tag information. No tag no buy.
I'm probably just trying to kick the tires. I never know where my next buy will come from.

I'll show you any of my 6 mopars fender tags. Just saying. no biggie.

Definitely some cool options in any case. EK2 is a great color. I was hoping the interior was K5 or maybe T5. Hopefully with a colored top and not a vinyl. So many questions
