Will I have any trouble matching my A/C from my 318 to the 71 340 I'm putting in my Challenger?

I believe it is all the same. Just dont leave the system open to long because it will get moisture in it. Buy a new drier since you are going to recharge it.Rockauto has them and it took 4 days to get it so dont take your ac apart till your ready to change the engine and have the drier.

Since they are both small blocks, it should fit right there. Two years ago, I installes A/C in my Li'l red truck with a 360, and the compressor came from a Dodge truck with a 318 and I had no trouble at all, so, I figure you should be just fine going from 318 to 340.
