Yes, many AARs had a vinyl top. The vinyl top option codes are below but the most common are V1X - Black and V1W - White.
An extremely, rare example would be an AAR ordered with the A67 - Backlight Louver Package. This package required the J68 - Black Rear Louvers, a V1X - Black vinyl top, Black Backlight Mouldings, and Dual Painted Racing Mirrors - left and right. Here is an FE5 - Rallye Red example.

Note: Challenger T/As could get the A44 - Back Window Louver Package with or without the vinyl top but the package did include the dual, color-keyed racing mirrors.
