How long is the AAR-T/A antenna extension cable? It's not for lack of trying that I can't find this information. I went back a few years in forum searches and have done the standard internet thing, to no avail... as in, not even a hint.

Cable routing? No problem. 'Twas a topic here a couple of months back.
Part number? Easy... but no length in any description I've found.
How long the damned thing is? Top secret, classified, or nobody's ever bothered to measure it.

The car's a '74 and the extension isn't visible, so I don't care about using a genuine or reproduction part. Everything else will be OE. I know it ends near the rear of the door. By my measurements that means it's roughly 8' long, but I don't want to either come up inches short or have a bunch of extra cable balled up in the kick panel.

Has anyone here ever actually measured this thing, or know of a suitable-length aftermarket bit to use?

Measured an original AAR/TA antenna extension cable and its 104” long (8’ 8”).
