Hey guys.

Its now 3 years since I disassembled my challenger and there are a few things I need help to locate. See pictures attached.

I believe number 1 is for power steering and 10 for battery holder?

#1 does not look like any part of a power steering bracket..

#5 are rear bumperette brackets, there are two more that go with them.

Classic Industries sells them under MM1790 if you want to see them.

Nice car. What color is that? And please post more pics!

To consolidate and include other responses.
1. Power steering pump
2. Transmission kick down linkage. Attaches to 7
which attaches to carb.
3. Possibly the strap that holds heater box to the
cowl. Looks broken.
4. Rear radio strap.
5. Rear bumperette mounts.
6. Transmission mounting washers.
7. Transmission kick down linkage at the carb.
8. Aftermarket bracket.
9. 4 speed linkage.
10. Spare tire hold down.
11. Maybe an aftermarket part.

Just goes to show how important it is to label/tag/bag/take pictures when working on these projects. Especially when someone may not be too familiar with what they are working on. Good luck on your assembly process and continue to ask for any help you may need. As stated above, show us some more pics of your progress.

Hello all!

Thanks for all your replies, it's really helpful.
I did take 100's of pictures and did put it in plastic bags with tags. When it went to get electro coated it got Mixed.
And when you are in the assembly progress you don't actually have the pictures needed..

I'll post some pictures of my build. Was a very rotten challenger, sold as fresh restored by Southern motors..

The color was chosen by me, and is not a original color. I'm building this as a R/T clone with all the correct option. (I know there was no R/T vert in 71)
I'm building this car the way i like, and keep it original ISH, and don't care about the ORIGINAL freaks :)
