Hello
Trying to put together a 72 challenger and have 2 of the 3 studs broken off to hold the fan motor. Any tricks to replace them?

Probably replace the fan motor would be the option. JMO

Fan motor is fine with 3 holes that go over the broken studs. The studs are attached to the firewall or heater box

You need to remove the heater box from inside the car, take off the plate that the fan motor is attached to, and replace the studs. If the heater core is still the original core replace that too. If you do decide you need a heater core save yourself a lot of grief and get one from Roseville. Most of the other ones available are junk. Might be a good time to overhaul the heater box as well. Check out Detroit Muscle for the kit.
