i have installed Dr. Diff's stage 2 sliding disc caliper brakes (11.75" rotors) on my 70 challenger. I have the 15" wheels (Chrysler Police wheels) that I want but it looks like a really tight fit. is there a minimum spacing requirement between the caliper and wheels that I should observe or am i good to go with the ever so slight clearance i have?

Thanks.

As long as they don't rub you'll be good to go. I've seen some that were really close, like about 1/4" or so.

They will be close. I have 11.75" rotors with torque thrust 15 x7 rims. They clear but you'll have watch out where the wheel weights are put, if you use the stick-on type. I had my weights low profile and placed against the hub so everything clears. I use the same setup as you. Your wheels are steel so you should be good to go.
