Fabbin' should be done within a week or so. We only have another 4 or 5 more bars to go & then the window net & a few other tabs & brackets left to do.

Thanks guys, We have finished a few more smaller bars, brackets & tabs for window net, parachute handle mounts, front & mid plates are done. All of the major chassis & cage is now done. I have an appointment with NHRA at our local track on Sat to get it certified for the 25.5 cert.

All the hard work has paid off. Passed the 25.5 cert on Sat. Now the fun begins with finishing up the rest of the car.

Thanks, It's going to be awhile before it hits the track. It won't be this season & maybe not next year either The wheels, tires, cage, chassis, suspension, parachute, window net & Kirkey seats have tapped me out for awhile. Next onto the most expensive part, the engine.

Latest updates: Primed, painted & cleared the seat brackets, parachute mount, steering column B5 blue to match the car & painted the Kirkey seats black. I don't like that alum look. Still waiting on the new covers to come in. I have the car all masked off & cardboard windshiled & rear window templates made since the windows are out. Priming, painting & clearing the cage is next. Not looking forward to this.

LOL. I would never have the time to do another one for some one else. I have 4 years into this one so far & it still doesn't run yet.

I had the Challenger out side to do some garage cleaning. Here is how it looks as of right now & a sneak peak of the power plant, someday... In the removable steering wheel & tubular column picture you can notice Pro Stock type inner door handles I had to fab up thru the arm rest since the cage door X bars crossed where the original inner door handle used to be. I made a small filler piece to block off the old opening in the door panel.

I was PM'd about the rear wheel & tire combo. It is a 15" x 12" Weld 2.0's With 315 M/T Drag Radials. Wills also fit a 29.5 x10.5W.

For the purists. Even re-used one of my factory Chrysler seat belt buckle for the window net & adapted my factory woodgrain wheel to the quick release steering wheel hub remover.
25.5 Cert tag
Also got the rear speaker package tray notched around the rear two bars going down thru the trunk to the horizontal upper shock bar.
